Job Summary: The Vehicle Wrap & Graphics Installer is responsible for enhancing and personalizing vehicles through the expert application of vinyl wraps and custom graphics. This role requires precision,creativity, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes that align with client expectations. The installer will work with a variety of materials and tools, adhering to safety protocols and company standards. As an integral part of our team, the Vehicle Wrap & Graphics Installer will contribute to our reputation for excellence in vehicle upfitting.

Responsibilities & Duties:

· Vinyl Wrap Application: Prepare vehicles for vinyl wrap installation, including cleaning and prepping surfaces. Accurately measure, cut, and apply vinyl wraps to various vehicle surfaces, ensuring smooth and even coverage. Address complex contours and shapes while maintaining high aesthetic standards.

· Custom Graphics Installation: Design and apply custom graphics, decals, and lettering to vehicles. Work closely with clients & Blue Collar Customs Team to understand their vision and translate it into a high-quality finished product. Ensure the correct placement and alignment of graphics.

· Material Management: Maintain inventory of tint, wrap, and graphic materials. Ensure materials are stored properly and reorder supplies as needed.

· Quality Control: Inspect all completed installations to ensure quality, ensuring they meet company standards and client expectations. Perform touch-ups or corrections as necessary.

· Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with Blue Collar Customs Team and clients to understand their need sand preferences. Provide professional recommendations and educate clients on the care and maintenance of their vehicle enhancements.

· Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols during the installation process, including the use of protective equipment and proper handling of materials. Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and company policies.

· Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.

· Documentation: Keep accurate records of all work performed, including measurements, materials used, and client specifications. Assist in creating and updating documentation for company processes.

Essential Functions:

· Precision Application: Perform detailed and precise installation of vinyl wraps and custom graphics ensuring a flawless and professional finish.

· Physical Dexterity: Utilize hand tools and equipment skillfully to cut, apply, and smooth materials onto vehicles, requiring steady hands and fine motor skills.

· Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues during installation, such as air bubbles, misalignment, or material defects, ensuring all work meets quality standards.

· Time Management: Efficiently manage time to complete installations within scheduled deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

· Attention to Detail: Meticulously check all aspects of installations, from material preparation to final inspection, to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

· Safety Adherence: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to protect yourself, clients, and vehicles during the installation process.

· Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest techniques, tools, and materials in the industry to continuously improve the quality of work and maintain a competitive edge.

· Technology Utilization: Leverage various technologies and digital tools to enhance the efficiency and precision of installation processes. Stay proficient with emerging technologies and software relevant to role.

Qualification and Skills:

· Experience: Minimum of (3) years of experience in vehicle vinyl wrapping or graphic installation. Experience in automotive customization or a related field is preferred.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, cutting machines, and other equipment necessary for tint, wrap, and graphics installation. Familiarity with design software and digital tools used in the customization process is a plus.

· Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on small details, ensuring high precision and quality in all installations.

· Manual Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling materials and tools with accuracy.

· Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the installation process, such as correcting alignment or addressing material defects.

· Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members. Ability to understand and follow written instructions and technical specifications.

· Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

· Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods. Must be able to lift and move materials and equipment as required.

· Customer Service: Commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

· Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive work environment.

· Adaptability: Willingness to learn new techniques, adapt to new technologies, and stay current with industry trends.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports or any level of supervision.

Work Environment:

· Physical Setting: The Vehicle Wrap &Graphics Installer will primarily work in a well-equipped automotive shop environment. The role requires frequent movement around vehicles and the use of various machinery and tools.

· Physical Demands: This position involves substantial physical activity. Tasks include standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Installers must be able to lift up to 50pounds and handle large and sometimes cumbersome materials.

· Environmental Factors: The work environment may involve exposure to chemicals used in tints, wraps, and adhesives. Proper safety equipment and ventilation will be provided to minimize risks.

· Noise Level: The workspace typically has a moderate noise level due to equipment and installation operations.

· Safety Protocols: Adherence to safety protocols is crucial. This includes wearing protective gear such as gloves, masks, and goggles as required, and following all safety instructions to prevent accidents.

· Team Interaction: While a significant amount of work is performed independently, collaboration with team members is essential for project coordination and quality assurance.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work:

· Employment Type: This is a full-time position.

· Work Schedule: The normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

· Overtime: Overtime opportunities are available as the work schedule demands and will be compensated accordingly.

Travel:

· General Travel Requirements: Travel for this position is generally limited. Most work is conducted on-site at our facility.

·  Onsite Installations: Minimal travel maybe required for onsite installations, typically only necessary for rework or specific client requests.

·  Events and Training: Occasional overnight travel may be required to attend industry events, training sessions, or other professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated with industry trends.
